Anderson Talisca is proud of his impact with Benfica this season.
The midfielder only arrived in the summer from Bahia and is currently the country's leading goalscorer.
Such has been his form that Talisca is now attracting big money interest from Chelsea and Arsenal.
He told Record: "I did imagine this could happen because I know how hard I worked when with Bahia.
"I always looked to improve. I was never perfect, always had my mistakes and always looked to correct them. I knew that one day this would happen. With work, and with time we will conquer all."
Talisca added: "Five years ago I earned 50 euros a month (at Bahia).
"I am happy, thank God, everything is going to work out."
