Davide Chiumiento is reportedly on the verge of returning to Vancouver Whitecaps.
The Province reports that the 28-year old Swiss midfielder was recently seen in downtown Vancouver having lunch with head coach Martin Rennie which has added fuel to the fire that he could be back with the Whitecaps next season.
Fan favourite Chiumiento departed Vancouver for FC Zurich in July but it is believed that he could already be headed back to BC Place if the right deal can be agreed upon.
