Borussia Dortmund chief Michael Zorc has hailed the impact of their scouting department after landing Jude Bellingham.

BVB burned off competition from Manchester United to sign Bellingham from Birmingham City last month.

Zorc enthused: "For years - and not only in the Bellingham case - our scouting department headed by boss Markus Pilawa has been doing an excellent job - we have enormous expertise there.

"In particular, through the implementation of the department's top talent we are very early on know nearly all outstanding young footballers around the world.

"We're constantly in the picture."
