Aston Villa chairman Randy Lerner is considering several out of work managers to succeed Martin O'Neill.
The Mirror says US businessman Randy Lerner spent three days holed up at a London hotel with Villa chief executive Paul Faulkner interviewing candidates.
Gianfranco Zola, Gerard Houllier, Sven Goran Eriksson and Gareth Southgate are all keen, along with Alan Curbishley.
