Former Hellas Verona and Cremonese defender Wladyslaw Zmuda has urged AC Milan to stick with Krzysztof Piatek.
The Poland international is being linked with a move away after suffering a form slide this season.
But Zmuda told TMW: "Last year he seemed to go crazy from how many goals he made (laughs): I can't say why he stopped scoring, but if the team doesn't turn it takes patience.
"I hope and believe that he can return to his levels, and to score goals.
"He is still young, he has the future ahead: let's wait for him."
