Oleksandr Zinchenko admits speaking with Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola about PSV Eindhoven before agreeing to move.

The Ukraine international has joined PSV on a season-long loan.

He revealed at his presentation: "He (Guardiola) sees PSV as a good intermediate step for me.

"PSV are a big club.

"I'm happy to play here. This is a good next step in my development."

Zinchenko added: "It's a nice, big stadium and there is a big crowd. I think that's important."
