Piotr Zielinski says Napoli weren't good enough for their Europa League defeat to Granada.
Napoli lost the first-leg of their round of 32 tie 2-0.
“It's difficult to explain. We knew Granada were a tough squad who defend and press well. We could've avoided the two goals," Poland international Zielinski told Sky Italia.
“Now we can only try to avoid those mistakes again, because they make games an uphill struggle. The first half was not good, we did better after the break.
“The injuries are making a big difference, as there are nine or 10 important players for us who are out of action. Having said that, we've got quality throughout the squad.
“It's not like we want to lose or draw games. We give our all to win. We're missing some determination in front of goal and I accept the blame too, because there were two chances tonight where I should've done better. We certainly have to convert more of our scoring opportunities.
“We are lacking something, that's for sure. We have so much quality, but need to help more from the midfield when it comes to creating and scoring chances."
