The Daily Mail says Zenit are lining up a £4million bid for West Bromwich Albion defender Cech.
The Russian champions, who are desperate to sign a left back, are struggling to strike a deal for Fiorentina's Peru international Juan Manuel Vargas.
Cech has admitted he is unsettled at the Hawthorns.
