Zenit St Petersburg have joined the race for Atletico Madrid winger Jose Antonio Reyes.

It emerged yesterday that AS Monaco had agreed terms with Atletico over a fee for Reyes, while Newcastle United have made another attempt to bring the ex-Arsenal man back to England.

Zenit are also in the mix and have made contact with Atletico in the last 24 hours about a price for Reyes.
