Zenit keen on Arsenal's Arshavin

Zenit St Petersburg boss Luciano Spalletti has revealed that he is eager to have Arsenal's Andrey Arshavin back at the club next season.

The Russian international spent time on loan at his former club last year and with his career in North London set to end this summer, Spalletti says he is likely to go after the 31-year old forward.

"We do our job and do what we're expected to do and our aim is to be useful for the team," Spalletti told vesti.ru.

"If Arshavin is the man who can add anything for this then we can think about him. Andrey is interesting for everyone in Russia because he's a charismatic player."
