Zenit St Petersburg coach Luciano Spalletti has dismissed talk of taking the Inter Milan job.
Spalletti has been linked with the post after leading Zenit to the Russian championship.
He insisted: "I have never been contacted by Inter. I have a contract here.
"I will continue to be Zenit's Coach until they sack me or a new situation develops.
"There were never any doubts [that Massimo Moratti would show his full confidence in Benitez].
"Moratti is a serious person. At this present moment in the season the team has paid dearly for a series of injuries.
"Moratti is not the kind of person who turns his back on you after two months."
