Zenit St Petersburg ace Andrey Arshavin is backing former club Arsenal to win the Premier League this season.
The Gunners are two points clear at the top of the table after 11 games, despite their defeat to Manchester United before the international break.
Arshavin told the Russian club's official website: "Arsenal are playing much better than they have over the last two or three years.
"I was surprised that they won so comfortably against Liverpool, because they too are in excellent form right now."
