Inter Milan vice-president Javier Zanetti insists Dani Osvaldo can still have a future with the club.

Osvaldo is on-loan from Southampton and on the outer after an on-field bust-up with Mauro Icardi.

"It's a shame that this episode happened, but the important thing is that he understood his error," said Zanetti to Sky Sport Italia during today's Ballon d'Or ceremony.

"He apologised to Icardi. What matters is that everyone shares the same objectives and that we stay united to get back to the top.

"The doors are open for Pablo, he is still an Inter player. When problems of this type come up, we must look forward."
