Former AS Roma defender Antonio Carlos Zago has no doubts about AC Milan's imminent signing Lucas Paqueta.

The Flamengo attacker is set to join Milan in a €35m deal rising to €50m. Fla officials have confirmed Paqueta will become a Milan player before the end of the month.

Zago told TMW: "He's one of the main players here in Brazil.

"(Milan director) Leonardo knows him very well, being a flamenguista. I consider him a great purchase for Milan, he will certainly be a great addition for (Rino) Gattuso.

"He looks like Oscar, this is true, technically he is very strong but compared to the former Chelsea man scores a little less, he is a young player who needs to grow and gain experience at a tactical level and not only in midfield.

"He has everything to become very great."
