Former AC Milan and Inter coach Alberto Zaccheroni is set to be named new coach of Racing Santander.

The shock news was relayed by La Cadena SER last night, with claims of a meeting last Thursday between the Italian and Racing officials.

Zacc has been given a fortnight to accept Racing's offer and has indicated he's keen to take the job. The Italian has also dropped his wage demands to make the move happen.
