Zaccheroni happy seeing Sarri leave Chelsea for Juventus

Former AC Milan coach Alberto Zaccheroni is pleased to see Maurizio Sarri moving to Juventus.

Chelsea and Juve have agreed a fee rising to £10m to release the coach from his Blues contract.

Zaccheroni told TMW, "They (Juve) have always followed different paths to get results. Now they have taken one of the top coaches of the moment who proposes a game that everyone is pushing.

"Reading the media and the newspapers are pushing a lot on this line, Sarri is one of the best of this type of football.

"Inter has (Antonio) Conte, Juventus has Sarri and (Carlo) Ancelotti at Napoli, the top is there. (Marco) Giampaolo is the only one who hasn't trained a great team yet, but he's like me since he came from Udinese. He has ideas and he has the courage to propose them: he is convincing with his players, I am sure he will do well.

"In football it is important to come to the right place at the right time. I wish him this, as happened to me."

Giampaolo is leaving Sampdoria to take charge of AC Milan.
