Former AC Milan coach Alberto Zaccheroni was critical of Stefano Pioli in their defeat to Inter Milan.

Zaccheroni says Milan missed an opportunity to keep Serie A leaders Inter in check.

"Pioli had the opportunity to reopen the derby when they managed to play in the opposing half of the pitch," said Zacc.

"Milan has allowed Inter to play their game. The Rossoneri had the wrong approach. Milan can participate in the final victory because they have a precise identity, they attack with many men, they don't have the burden of having to win.

"That can still be too much for the Nerazzurri."
