Zabaleta: Fightback at Celtic shows character of Man City

Pablo Zabaleta hailed the spirit of the Manchester City side in the wake of their 3-3 draw with Celtic.

City came from behind on three occasions to grab a point on the road in the Champions League in what was a character-building performance according to experienced defender Zabaleta.

"To come back three times when we were behind shows the character of the team," said the Argentine.

"We were a bit unlucky not to score at the end. We created a few clear chances and had control of the game in the second half.

"It's true that we conceded in three key moments of the game, especially the third goal at the start of the second half but to come back was important."

Fernandinho, Raheem Sterling and Nolito were all on target after Moussa Dembele, Sterling's own-goal and another Dembele effort had the home side ahead on three different occasions.
