Harry Winks is confident his first full week in the Tottenham team has shown he is good enough to stay there.

Winks said: "I've proved in training and pre-season that I can be trusted. But it's important for me to keep earning that trust. The manager trusts the young players. If he believes in us, he will play us.

"It's been a mixed week for me: the highs of starting and scoring against West Ham and then starting against Monaco, but then the lows of losing to Monaco and Chelsea. It's still early days for me but it gives hope to all young players coming through."
