Ashley Young will have to take a pay cut in order to remain at Manchester United.
Young has impressed this season under Louis van Gaal and it is believed that the Dutch manager is keen on rewarding the winger by extending his current deal which expires at the end of next season.
However, van Gaal is said to be not willing to match Young's current weekly wages of around £120,000-per-week and it has been reported that if the 30-year old is to remain at the club beyond the end of next season, he will have to take a pay cut.
