Young lauds Man Utd teammate Fellaini - 'He has been very important'

Marouane Fellaini is slowly turning his Manchester United career around which has been noted by teammate Ashley Young.

The towering Belgian midfielder, 27, struggled in his early days at Old Trafford after joining from Everton for £27.5million but according to Young is now showing the form that landed him that transfer fee in September 2013.

"He has been very important for us. He has been in the team and when he is in the box, I'm not sure many teams can handle him," the winger told Sky Sports.

"You saw against Tottenham (when scoring in the 3-0 win) that he was fantastic at getting in the box and looking like a striker at times. I think he likes playing in that position. We just have to utilise his strengths and I think we did that really well on Sunday.

"I think last season was difficult for a lot of people and this season is totally different."
