Young Boys fullback Sutter chasing Premier League contract

Young Boys fullback Scott Sutter has hopes of making the move to the Premier League.

The 24-year-old moved to Switzerland eight years ago to pursue a different route to stardom and, after recovering from a major ankle injury that nearly wrecked his career, decided to pursue international honours with the country of his father's birth.

So settled is Sutter, he proudly claims Switzerland is his "home".

However, just like Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves, he would eventually welcome the chance to go back to where it all began.

"It is still a dream to play in England," he said.

"That and Spain are the best leagues in the world. Everyone wants to play in the Premier League at some point.

"I am like every other kid growing up in England.

"Owen Hargreaves was in a better position than me because he was playing for Bayern Munich.

"But with Young Boys in the Europa League and a place in the Switzerland squad as well, it is a good way to present myself."
