Yoshinori Muto has expressed his joy after scoring his first goal for Newcastle United since August last year.
The Japan international netted in Toon's friendly comeback win over Middlesbrough on Tuesday.
Speaking to NUFC TV, Muto said: "It was a little bit strange for us. From two down, we scored three goals and won the game. I'm very happy.
"I wanted to score in this game. I scored so I'm really happy, but I need more goals and I aim to score in the Premier League.
"The most important thing is to score for me as a striker. I need to keep scoring every match, every day."
The Magpies face Sheffield United at St. James' Park on June 21 in their first competitive match since March.
