Yeovil manager Russell Slade has boosted his squad with the signing of Manchester United midfielder Ritchie Jones on a long-term loan deal.

Jones, who has made five first-team appearances for United, had previously enjoyed short loan spells at Colchester and Barnsley as well as also featuring for the England Under-19 side.

A statement on the club's website said: "Richie appears to have a good future ahead of him.

"We are sure the supporters will join us in welcoming Richie to the club, and wish him all the best for his time here."
