Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure is set to make his first start under manager Pep Guardiola in Wednesday's League Cup third-round fixture with Swansea City.
The Ivorian has been neglected at City ever since Guardiola's arrival at the club and was recently excluded from the Citizens' Champions League squad.
The 33-year-old missed last week's training, as well as the weekend's win over AFC Bournemouth, because of migraine problems but he has now resumed training with the team and is set to feature in City's central midfield in the game at the Liberty Stadium.
Reports suggest that Toure, who has been out of action for three days, will continue to be assessed in the lead-up to the Swansea clash and will be handed a start by Guardiola if he has made a full recovery.
