Granit Xhaka is urging Arsenal to accept Roma's bid tabled for him.

Xhaka is ready to sign a four-year, €2.5m-a-year deal with Roma, but Arsenal are yet to accept an offer from the Giallorossi.

Xhaka wants to join new Roma coach Jose Mourinho and the Corriere dello Sport says he is pushing the Gunners to finalise the deal with the Giallorossi.

Arsenal want €20m plus add-ons to sell the 28-year-old who moved to the Emirates Stadium from Borussia Monchengladbach for €45m in 2016.

Meanwhile, Roma are reluctant to go higher than €15m for the midfielder.
