Barcelona coach Xavi is at odds with management over their pursuit of Manchester City attacker Ferran Torres.
Barca have already made a €40m offer for Torres, which was turned down a fortnight ago.
Sport says Xavi is insisting Barca do what they can to sign the former Valencia starlet next month. However, City's valuation of €80m is proving out of Barca's budget range.
Indeed, it's suggested directors have told Xavi that even at €35m they regard Torres as overpriced.
As such, the prospect of Torres arriving at the Nou Camp in January now appears slim.
