Xabi Alonso has resigned as Real Sociedad B coach.

Xabi leaves Sanse after three seasons with the club.

"It was my decision, I think the time has come to close this beautiful stage," said Xabi.

"I don't have any thorn in my side.

"The first team is in the best hands and that has never been talked about.

"I knew it was my place, it was very clear to me and I was delighted."
