Wyness delighted with Inverness Caley goals

Dennis Wyness is delighted with his sudden goal scoring form after his double in Inverness Caley's 4-2 defeat of Falkirk.

"That's four goals in the last three games, so hopefully I'm getting back to my best," he said. "However, all the boys are playing well just now and confidence is high. Just scoring goals is good for confidence and it's now up to me to try and build on that.

"It's also good to be getting a run of games as I thought that after I missed a good chance against Celtic a few weeks ago that I would be dropped for the Hearts game.

"Fortunately, the manager [Craig Brewster] kept faith with me and I managed to get a goal against Hearts. To be honest, it doesn't matter who is scoring the goals. As long as we're winning and playing well, then that's the most important thing.

"It's not just the last three games we've played well in, however. I think we've put in some good performances in most of the games this season and just been a bit unfortunate. However, we knew what a big week this would be for us and to get three wins is a huge boost for our confidence."
