Wycombe reveal a reduction in losses

Wycombe chairman Ivor Beeks has announced that the club cut losses in the last 12 months by nearly £1million. Wanderers lost £700,000 in the year ending June 30, down from £1.6million the year before.

The Chairboys made £900,000 from the sales of Sergio Torres, Russell Martin and Mike Williamson and Beeks expects a similar result in next year's results.

"For the year to June 30 2010 the finances are expected to improve further.

"However, the underlying budget - excluding player transfers - is for a loss slightly under £1million as we adapt once again to life in League One."
