Barcelona are eager to secure Ansu Fati to a new contract.

While the 16 year-old sensation only penned pro terms last summer to 2023, there is a fear he could yet be tempted away.

Fati's current deal carries an 'affordable' buyout clause of €100m - so leaving Barca vulnerable to any hostile raid from a fellow European giant.

As such, reports Mundo Deportivo, Barca want to reward the teen for his first team breakthrough with a pay-rise - and to also double his buyout clause to €200m.

The new deals of fellow Barca youngsters Oriol Busquets and Juan Miranda boast the same buyout option.
