The official website of Real Madrid was the most visited of any soccer club worldwide last year, according to digital audience measurement firm Comscore, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.
The La Liga club's site finished 2019 with a monthly average of 2,006,000 unique visitors, the fourth consecutive year in which they topped Comscore's rankings.
In a club statement commenting on the achievement, Real said: 'These excellent audience results are a reflection of Real Madrid's efforts in the club's digital transformation process.'
Liverpool sit in second place on Comscore's list, with less than half Real's traffic figure. The Premier League leaders hit 863,000 average monthly visitors, narrowly ahead of Spanish champions Barcelona and their 812,000 average unique users.
In the battle for dominance in Manchester, despite recent years of underperformance on the field, United are fourth with 771,000 average visitors, while rivals City trail down in tenth place on the Comscore list with 270,000.
