Woodward confident tempting Saul Niguez to Man Utd

Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward is confident of signing Saul Niguez from Atletico Madrid, according to reports.

The Red Devils have for years been linked with the Spain international, who is an integral player in Diego Simeone's side.

And theDaily Star says United will have to pay an eye-watering £135m to land the 25-year-old.

Any move for Saul would rest on the sale of Paul Pogba, who is being linked with Real Madrid and Juventus.

Saul is viewed as the perfect replacement for the moody Frenchman by officials at Old Trafford.

United want at least £100m for Pogba and Woodward would use that money on bringing Saul to Manchester.
