Wolves youngster Gibbs-White hopes to earn England U21 honour

Wolves youngster Morgan Gibbs-White is hoping that he will have the honour of being England under-21 captain.

The 19-year-old has a lot of experience, having played more than 50 games for the Wolves senior team.

Now he is ready to step up for the under-21s, as they prepare for their Euro 2021 qualifiers against Turkey and Kosovo.

Speaking about a possible leadership role with the team, Gibbs-White said to reporters: "I've definitely got those qualities and I'd love to be the captain of this incredible, talented under-21s side.

"But we're all still working hard, putting the work in, so it's up to the manager who he decides the captain is.

"I'm sure whoever it is going to be is going to take to it like a duck to water."
