Wolves winger Adama: Nuno a massive influence

Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore believes their great form is down to manager Nuno Espirito Santo.

The Premier League side had a tough start to the season, especially with their early Europa League campaign.

But they have found their groove and now find themselves firmly in the hunt for a top four finish.

And 24-year-old Traore thinks Nuno is a key reason for the team's success, and his own incredible form.

He has four goals and seven assists in the Premier League this term.

"Nuno has been a massive figure for me," said Traore to reporters.

"It's the confidence he gives me.

"From the first day I came to wolves he just made me feel that he believes I can take on any player and make them struggle.

"That is massive for a player and maybe you think it's just me but if you ask any of guys they will tell you that the confidence of the manager is as important as the training you go to on a daily basis.

"A lot has changed for me but the football ability has always been there it's just a little bit of adjusting. The coach, food, my teammates helping me out a lot and also just the attitude to keep working because when you continue working hard everything eventually falls into place."
