Wolves willing to go to £30M to buy Raul Jimenez

Wolves are closing on a deal for on-loan Benfica striker Raul Jimenez.

The Telegraph says Wolves are on the brink of securing a club-record £25million deal to sign Jimenez.

The forward has shone for Wolves this season during his loan spell from Benfica and is now closing in on a permanent deal.

Nuno Espirito Santo is keen on signing the Mexican international on a long-term deal and Wolves are now in advanced talks to sign him.

An initial fee of around £25m has been agreed, eclipsing the previous transfer record of £18m for Middlesbrough winger Adama Traore.

Added instalments have also been included in the offer which could take the payment closer to £30m.
