Wolves are being linked with Lille attacker Rafael Leao.

Lille have admitted interest from Everton, though denied reports of a €40m offer.

Correio da Manha says Leao has signed up Jorge Mendes as his new agent. Mendes has close ties with Wolves.

However, rather than push the youngster towards the English outfit, Mendes is trying to sort Leao out with a move to Valencia due to his close contacts with owner Peter Lim.

This has been portrayed as a 'blow' to Everton in the Portuguese media, but the Liverpool Echo says interest in the forward has cooled after initially showing keeping tabs on the player before the transfer window opened.
