Wolves turn to Man Utd midfielder Van de Beek

Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek is a January target for Wolves.

The Birmingham Mail says Wolves could pull off a January coup by signing Van de Beek from United.

The former Ajax playmaker, signed from the Amsterdam club by United for £35 million last year, can hardly get a kick for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side.

Wolves and their Premier League rivals Everton and Newcastle United have all been linked with a move for van de Beek.

After the summer arrivals of Jadon Sancho and Cristiano Ronaldo, van de Beek has found it almost impossible to get on the pitch for United with only 16 minutes of Premier League football coming his way.

Solskjaer was criticised in particular for sending van de Beek on for the final 10 minutes of the 2-0 defeat to Manchester City last time out with the game all-but-lost.
