Wolves striker Sam Vokes hopes his goal for Wales in midweek earns him a Premiership start this weekend.
"I'd love to figure in the Premier League and scoring in international football will do me no harm," said Vokes. "There's a lot of competition for places at Wolves, but I'd like to think I can force myself into the first-team reckoning.
"I know the manager was watching my progress with Wales. I was determined to make an impact and get myself into his mind. I'm sure I did that.
"Now there's a massive game with West Ham coming up and I feel ready for that if my chance comes."
