Wolves striker Rafa Mir is close to joining Atletico Madrid.

After his successful loan last season with Huesca, Mir is wanted by LaLiga champions Atletico.

The Spanish champions are very close to an agreement with Wolverhampton to buy the 24-year-old, whose contract expires in 2022.

Mir and Atletico Madrid have already agreed on the personal terms.

The striker scored 16 goals in 39 competitive matches for Huesca last season.
