Wolves striker Fabio Silva breaks Cristiano Ronaldo record

Wolves striker Fabio Silva broke a Cristiano Ronaldo record with his goal in defeat to Burnley.

The teenage Portuguese struck his first senior goal for Wolves in the 2-1 reverse last night.

At 18 years and 155 days, Fábio Silva became the youngest player ever in a Wolves shirt to score in the Premier League - and also the youngest Portuguese player.

He surpassed the record that belonged to Cristiano Ronaldo: the first goal of the current player of Juventus in the English league, for Manchester United, was scored at 18 years and 269 days.

Fabio Silva joined Wolves over the summer from Porto.
