Wolves striker Doyle eyeing another big day against West Ham

Wolves striker Kevin Doyle is hoping he can turn back the clock and have another big day against West Ham United.

The 26-year old scored twice back in 2007 when Reading inflicted a massive defeat on the Hammers and he hopes history can repeat itself as the Wolves strive to steer clear of the drop zone when the clubs meet at Upton Park tonight.

"I scored a couple of goals against West Ham when Reading beat them 6-0 at The Madejski," said Doyle.

"That was a really good day - another like that would be nice!

"The West Ham game is massive and it is a big week for us, with Everton coming here at the weekend.

"West Ham will be fancying it as a chance to do some damage at the bottom, but we aren't short of confidence right now.

"Every point helps and we can see ourselves getting closer to the 36-38 points mark."
