Wolves are chasing Manchester United striker Ashley Fletcher.

The Express & Star says Wolves are expected to step up efforts to bolster their forward line over the coming days.

Anderlecht's Idrissa Sylla remains a prime target and Wolves are understood to have lodged a bid for the Guinea international, who will require a work permit before any deal can be completed.

They are also thought to be among a number of clubs keeping tabs on Manchester United striker Fletcher.

The 20-year-old scored nine goals while helping Barnsley to promotion from League One and is weighing-up his options, after being offered a new deal at Old Trafford.

Both Barnsley and Leeds have also expressed an interest and would seem to be leading the way, should Roberts choose to depart.
