Wolves ready to compete with Man Utd for Joao Felix

Wolves are ready to battle Manchester United for Benfica midfielder Joao Felix.

The Daily Mail says Wolves have been monitoring the highly-rated 19-year-old closely and reportedly sent scouts to watch him in action this week.

United are currently in pole position to sign the Portugal starlet but a number of a high-profile clubs around Europe are also interested in the £100m midfielder.

Felix, who has played 29 times and scored 11 goals in all competitions for Benfica this season, is represented by super agent Jorge Mendes who also deals with Cristiano Ronaldo and Jose Mourinho.

Wolves are hoping to utilize their connections with Mendes to get Felix to move to Molineux in the summer.
