Wolves putting star winger Adama Traore up for sale

Wolves are putting star winger Adama Traore up for sale.

The Daily Mail says Wolves will listen to offers for Traore at the end of the season but will probably have to accept a lower fee for the winger than they would have received last summer.

Traore, 25, was on the market last August after Wolves' marathon campaign finally ended with a Europa League defeat by Sevilla and there was interest from former club Barcelona as well as Manchester City, but Wolves' £70million asking price was deemed too high.

Wolves are likely to sell at least one key player this summer as they reshape their squad under boss Nuno Espirito Santo.

Romain Saiss could also move on — the defender is out of contract in the summer, though the club have the option to extend it by a year.

Although Traore still has admirers, he has struggled for form this term and has failed to register a goal or assist in 26 league appearances.

Leeds are thought to have enquired about him in January but were swiftly knocked back.
