Wolves are plotting a January bid for Liverpool striker Divock Origi.

The Mirror says Wolves are lining-up a January bid for the £20 million rated Origi.

The newly-promoted midlands club have made signing a new forward a priority in the next transfer window.

Wolves first asked about Belgian international Origi during the summer and are now ready to firm up their interest.

Origi has only played once for Liverpool this season, and has fallen down the pecking order at the Merseyside club.

He has scored 21 goals in 78 appearances for Liverpool after joining them in a £10m move from Lille in 2014.
