A return to Wolves this summer could be on for Tottenham defender Matt Doherty.

The Republic of Ireland international left Wolves for Spurs last summer for £16m, but has battled for regular action this season.

Football Insider reports Wolves are open to recruiting the 29-year-old, even if Nelson Semedo remains at the club.

Tottenham could sell Doherty and fellow fullback Serge Aurier, 28, this summer.

It's suggested Spurs boss Jose Mourinho has recommended they buy two new right-backs for next season.
