Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves spoke of Portugal's two debutants after their 0-0 draw at Manchester United on Saturday.
Daniel Podence made his first appearance for Wolves, while Bruno Fernandes did the same for United.
Neves told Sport TV: "It is a sign that the Portuguese are growing, that football is attentive to the quality of the Portuguese and that is good for our country and for our players.
"I am happy for them and for the debuts, that of the Daniel with us and Bruno at United. Now we have to continue, because they both have a lot of quality and will certainly give a lot to this league."
