Wolves midfielder Joao Moutinho admits he twice came close to moving to England in the past.
Moutinho admits Premier League football was worth the wait after coming close to joining Everton and Tottenham before he wound up at Wolves.
He told inews: "The first one is Everton and Sporting, with David Moyes.
“The other one it's Tottenham, with Andre Villas-Boas.
"He was my coach in Porto and he was at Tottenham. It was very close — for one minute I don't sign. "I signed, but after the deadline, past one minute it was over.
“The most important thing is I do what I think is for my career. Now I'm at Wolves I'm happy and I hope to help the team to achieve our goals."
