Wolves keeper Hahnemann ready for all-American showdown with Everton No1 Howard

Wolves goalkeeper Marcus Hahnemann is ready for an all-American showdown with Everton's Tim Howard.

Hahnemann is desperate to take over as US keeper for the World Cup finals, but he knows he faces a huge task in shifting Everton stopper Howard from the starting line-up.

The 37 year-old said: "We have got Everton and that's a big game for me. It's another countryman from America so I want bragging rights for the summer. I'd like to win that.

"I've not spoken to him this week but I'd like to get one over him, that's for sure.

"We're always in camp together and I should be going to the World Cup too."
